Effective feedback doesn’t happen by accident. In this workshop, groups will learn to make the most out of observation, evaluation, and advice associated with feedback. Participants will gain experience in both providing and receiving helpful feedback. We’ll explore options for practical systems of feedback that can start immediately.
Workshop Objectives
Participants will:
- Understand and demonstrate and ability to share feedback including with the Seven Essentials of Effective Feedback
- Identify key differences in feedback, evaluation, and advice and understand the value in selective application of each component
- Create (and deliver when possible) effective feedback for subordinates, peers, and superiors
- Create individual feedback improvement plan
- Create team/organization feedback improvement plan
