Without having thorough understanding of our personal values (who we want to be) and our most important life domains (how we want to spend our time), it’s tough to lead a fulfilling life.

Critical Thinking for Well-BeingĀ 

We can be our own worst enemy in some situations.  Whether is negative self-talk, ignoring our better judgement, or missing major red flags.  By understanding the common pitfalls of our own thought processes, we can learn to avoid the thinking patterns that are most likely to be destructive.

Sleep and Relaxation

Through years of working with thousands of individuals, I’ve come to the conclusion that most of us are REALLY back at actually relaxing.  We may be great a distracting ourselves, but genuinely relaxing is tough for most of us.  More that 30% of the general population has issues with sleep, and a large part of that could be address with some improved relaxation skills.

Cultivating Happiness

Happiness is not necessarily the default emotion for the average individual.  We can’t say, from a psychological perspective, that in the absence of stressful or traumatic events, you’ll be happy.  What we can say is that the sense of happiness, joy, and contentment that many of us seek can be cultivated through structured exercises and practices.
